[edit] Summary

A comet flies over San Francisco and gives Eddie the same psychic powers Raven has. Except Eddie can get a vision whenever he wants (whereas Raven's psychic powers are brief). Unlike Raven, he decides to tell everybody for popularity, because he has avision about everyone likes his visions, much to the dismay of Raven. He ends up catching a cute girl named Katina (Haylie Duff) and becomes the most popular guy at school, with the students wanting predictions from him, including one guy named Sonny (Akeem Smith). Meanwhile, he forgets all about Raven and Chelsea and spends less time with them, even forgetting to rehearse the performance they were doing for The Chill Grill's 70's Disco theme night. When the comet is done flying all over San Francisco, his psychic powers are gone and he ends up losing Katina, his popularity and angering Sonny. Sonny wants Eddie's prediction for the upcoming Horse race, which Eddie fakes (since his powers are gone). While Raven and Chelsea are getting ready for 70's disco night, Raven has a vision about Eddie getting beat up. Turns out Eddie's "prediction" was wrong and Sonny came. When Raven's vision was about to come true, she and Chelsea come through the doors dressed up as 70's disco divas trying to be cops. Then Raven's mom and dad coming busting Sunny, making him leave. Eddie apologizes to Raven and Chelsea and 70's disco theme night starts.

[edit] Trivia

  • Haylie Duff is the sister of Hilary Duff, who starred in fellow Disney Channel hit Lizzie McGuire.
  • Orlando Brown guest starred on an episode of Lizzie McGuire as well.
  • The outfit that Chelsea wears in the beginning of the episode is the same that Tawny wore on fellow Disney hit Even Stevens.
  • Eddie's visions start with Pink CGI swirls, rather than the Yellow ones that start Raven's visions. Raven's visions did start Pink in a few episodes of the show's second season.
  • When Raven asks "Who would want to see a show about a teen psychic?" she looks at the camera meaning a reference to the series, and also making the only blatant fourth wall break in the series.
  • In this episode, there is a reference to a comet called Pearman's Comet, which just happens to be Raven-Symone's last name.
  • Used as an episode for the That's So Raven DVD "Supernaturally Stylish"
  • Aired as part of That's So Raven's Psychic Summer in 2004.
  • One of the episodes to vote for for A Raven New Year's Eve for the first new episode of 2004.
  • Second appearance of the reporter, his first appearance was in Wake Up, Victor.

[edit] Eddie's Visions

  • This vision was unseen (possibly for being too graphic), but proven to be the disco ball falling on Victor's head.
  • A student bumping into Katina causing her vase (project) to fall and break.
  • During Eddie's popularity, Eddie had two more unseen visions, one about Katina getting a B on her Biology test and another about a couple's relationship's ill fate.
  • Katina kissing Eddie.

[edit] Raven's Visions

  • Katina dumping Eddie.
  • Sonny about to beat up Eddie.

[edit] Quotes

  • Raven: Now who would want to see a show about a teen psychic?
  • Chelsea: Yeah, I Know!
  • Raven: (looks into the camera with a smirk)
