User:Haza-w/Anon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This welcome template is a spin-off of Template:Anon and incorporates the same structure as my user welcome message. As usual, anyone is free to use it. Use {{subst:User:Haza-w/Anon|~~~~}} on a new user's talk page. (Your signature is appended inside the border where {{{1}}} is shown.) Alternatively, use {{subst:User:Haza-w/Anon}} which leaves out the signature.
[edit] Welcome!
Welcome! I hope you enjoy the encyclopaedia. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and gives you many benefits, including:
- The use of a username of your choice, provided that it is appropriate.
- The use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you.
- The ability to start new pages.
- The ability to rename pages.
- The ability to edit semi-protected pages.
- The ability to upload images.
- The ability to customize the appearance and behavior of the website.
- The eligibility to become an administrator.
- Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users.
Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help, look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ; plus, if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia-related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page.
Good luck, and consider creating an account if you take Wikipedia editing seriously.
