Hazelbrook, New South Wales

Hazelbrook is a village in New South Wales, Australia. It is located west of Sydney in the Blue Mountains. Its approximate population is of 5000 and it lies 700 m above sea level. The postcode is 2779.

The village is served by Hazelbrook railway station with once-hourly trains taking approximately 105 minutes to reach Sydney Terminal or 75 minutes to reach Lithgow station. Other transport options include buses from the private operator Blue Mountains Bus Company that run from Katoomba to Springwood and sometimes as far as Penrith.

Economic activity in Hazelbrook includes a small Foodland supermarket, Australia Post office, hairdresser, newsagent, liquor shop, dentist, doctor's surgery, optometrist, chemist, several restaurants and a Caltex petrol station.
