Hazel Grove High School's GCSE results are above England's national average.[1][2] According to the league table, the school is ranked lower than other schools in the area.[3] League tables, however, also contain private schools; also, they do not take into account catchment areas, children with learning difficulties, and special needs children. It has gained DfES designation for three of its subjects and is also a Microsoft Academy.[4]
There is concern as the school has had four different headteachers in the last five years.
