Hazardous Mutation is the second full length album from the Crossover Thrash band, Municipal Waste. It is also the band's debut on Earache Records.It's main theme is about Zombies and other monsters.

The cover art was done Ed Repka who has done artwork for other metal bands such as Megadeth, Death, Massacre, Nuclear Assault, ect. The cover is related to the song Hazardous Mutation in wich people without chemical suites are turned into mutants. The survivng humans are being chased by a mob of mutants in a red dump-truck sort of thing.
