Haydarpasha Mosque

St. Catherine’s Cathedral in Nicosia was originally built by the Lusignans in the 14th century. It has been described by Harry Charles Luke as representing one of the finest examples of Gothic buildings on the island. It was converted to a mosque (the Haydarpasha Mosque) during the Ottoman occupation of the island.
