Hawkshaw Hawkins

Harold Franklin Hawkins (December 22, 1921March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Hawkshaw Hawkins, was a country music singer and member of the Grand Ole Opry from Huntington, West Virginia.

He died in the 1963 plane crash that also killed country singers Patsy Cline and Cowboy Copas. His widow was Grand Ole Opry star Jean Shepard.
