Hawkinson Ford Field
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hawk Ford Field is a baseball field located in Crestwood, Illinois. The stadium was built in 1999 and holds 3,200 people. It is the home field of the Frontier League's Windy City ThunderBolts. The park features one of the few upper decks in a minor league ballpark in the country. Renovations between 2004 and 2006 featured a new fan deck on the first base side, new kids zone down the left field line, and new ticket office also down the left field line. The ballpark was orginally called Hawkinson Ford Field, but new ownership of Hawkinson Ford in 2007 had both the name of the car dealership and the ballpark changed to Hawk Ford.
