Hawaii Route 540 is a four mile road that stretches from Route 50 in Kalaheo to Route 50 in Eleele on Kauai. The road is mainly an alternative to Route 50 and for the first mile, the Pacific Ocean is in view then the road takes a sharp turn towards, Kalahoe. Numerous agriculture fields surround the road.
