[edit] User pages and "fair use"

Hi, sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to point out that according to Wikipedia:Fair use#Policy we are not allowed to use unfree (so called "fair use") images on (among other things) user pages (because they are only legal for strictly encyclopedic usage). I'm referring to most of the image contributions you are displaying on your page. Please either remove all such images from your user page, or replace them with free licensed alternatives. That will ensure that you user page won't be a potential legal problem (however unlikely it seems) for the project. Thanks for understanding. --Sherool (talk) 18:28, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Ok, sorry about that. I have fixed it now, and made all the non-free inlinked images to link only. - havarhen  | Talk 00:06, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Norway related stuff

Don't know if you are interested (or already know), but we have a Wikipedia:Norway-related topics notice board. Not very active, but the more people that know about it the better the chance of that chaning. Usefull to have on the watchlist if something interesting pops up there anyway. --Sherool (talk) 18:28, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

No, I didn't know about that. Looks interresting. - havarhen  | Talk 00:06, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] About the punk'd Logo

When I saw the opening of Season 7, they did change the opening really good. And I think that you needed to replace the old opening with a new one asap. BigBang19 04:07 PST 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Why don't you do it yourself? I see that the logotype of the logo is the same in season 7, it's just the opening that has changed, not the design of the logo. If you would like to upload a new logo, be my guest.  havarhen  | Talk 08:56, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Ntnu-logo.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Ntnu-logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:NO Driving licence front.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:NO Driving licence front.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
