Havana Cash has been engaged in rap music since the age of fourteen. Impromptu lyrical battles with the best of the male and female competition in the Glass City were a start for the Ohio native and can be credited to the launch of his music career. The more fellow rappers of the Toledo area heard Havana Cash, the more he was acknowledged as a skilled force to be reckoned with.

Judging from the silent response of competitors and cheers from on-lookers, Cash decided to take his raw talent to the novice level by competing in talent shows in the community. After winning numerous showcases, Cash was asked to perform at area venues The Collingwood Art Center and Macomber Building. The compelling nature of his lyrics and stage presence earned him opening spots at venues for nationally recognized artists such as, Toledo, Ohio native and R & B singer Lyfe Jennings, New York's Remy Martin and Texas' Slim Thug who personally displayed his respect for Cash by way of complimenting his performance after a show at Headliners Nightclub in Cash’s hometown.

As many high school seniors planned their future adult lives, Cash propelled his music career by learning more about the business of music. While he maintained his hustle Havana Cash founded rap group Off Tha Glass, which consists of four members. Rappers Tha Crook and Safire, accompanied by group producer Ben Franklin, along with Havana Cash who has worked with D.J. P-Cutta and super-producers The Heatmakerz, collectively form Off Tha Glass. In 2003 Cash suffered the loss of his best friend and rap affiliate Justin "Lyte Stykie" Alley as a result of a senseless robbery-homicide. Such life experiences served as a motivational tool for Havana Cash and further drove his ambitions for the group and himself to become nationally and international renowned artists.

Since the start of Off Tha Glass in 2000, members such as Havana Cash have made solo success. Since signing to independent label Ra Jah Ru, LLC of Bronx, New York, Havana Cash has made a total of ten mixtapes and two underground albums with distribution in over forty major cities as well as in the international market. Cash is most known for his 2006 mixtape titled "Raymond'$ Funeral Service," a twenty-track diss record directed toward rival rapper Ray Cash, also of Ohio.

Havana Cash's next major release is a look into the everyday life of street hustling from a fresh and unique perspective. It also vividly depicts tragic events and trials in his life which helped to shape his character. Havana Cash is scheduled to release many albums, mixtapes, podcasts and ep's in 2007.
