Haverhill/Reading Line

The Haverhill/Reading Line is a branch of the MBTA Commuter Rail system, running north from downtown Boston, Massachusetts through the city/towns of Malden, Melrose, Wakefield, Reading, Wilmington, Andover, Lawrence, and Haverhill.

The station stops (from North Station) are: Malden Center, Wyoming Hill, Melrose/Cedar Park, Melrose Highlands, Greenwood, Wakefield, Reading, North Wilmington, Ballardvale, Andover, Lawrence, Bradford, and Haverhill.

The line was purchased by the MBTA from the Boston and Maine Railroad in 1973.
