Have You Forgotten?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Have You Forgotten? is a country song by Darryl Worley. It attempts to invoke the memory of the September 11th terrorist attacks as motivation for supporting the U.S invasion of Iraq. Worley and songwriter Wynn Varble wrote the song in December of 2002, after a USO trip to Afghanistan and during the height of the Bush administration's push to justify the invasion of Iraq. It was #1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs for seven weeks, reaching #1 after only five weeks on the charts. The song was also the cover track for the Have You Forgotten? album.
