Hauganes is a small village in Iceland 30 km north of Akureyri. It has about 137 inhabitants.

Ekta fiskur ("real fish") is nearly the only company located in Hauganes; it produces salt fish. Fishing is an important industry to the village. It also offers whale-watching, popular among tourists.
