Hau Thai-Tang

Hau Thai-Tang is a Vietnamese American automotive executive. He was the Chief Program Engineer for the Ford Motor Company on the 2005 model year Ford Mustang program. As Chief Program Engineer he was responsible for overseeing the extremely successful launch of an American Icon. He is currently the Director of Advanced Product Creation & SVT - Special Vehicle Team - Ford's performance vehicles division. He will relinquish this position soon to take a new assignment as director of product development for Ford's South American operations based in Brazil. [1]
While directing SVT, Thai-Tang oversaw the development of the 2007 Shelby GT500.

He earned his engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
