The Hattiesburg School District is a public school district based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi (USA). Most of the district is located in Forrest County, but a small portion extends into Lamar County.

There were a total of 4,676 students enrolled in the Hattiesburg School District during the 2005-2006 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 49% female and 51% male. The racial makeup of the district was 90% African American, 8% White, 1% Hispanic, and less than 1% Asian.[1]
