Hato del yaque

Hato Del Yaque is a small town in the province of Santiago, Dominican Republic. The town is located 10 km southwest of the city of Santiago de los caballeros. Hato del yaque has a population of about 30,000 people. In 1979 Hurricane David destroyed many homes alongside the river in the city of Santiago. Most of those people were relocated in Hato Del yaque.

Hato Del yaque is divided into 6 municipal census division. 1.Aciba 2.El Flumen 3.Hato Del Yaque (head town) 4.Villa Bao 5.Villa Fatima 6.Villa Tabacalera.

The Head Town is divided into 12 census division 1.Monseñor Eliseo Pérez Sánchez 2.Villa Progreso 3.Urb. Dr. Grullón 4.La Mina 5.Hermanas Mirabal 6.El Tamarindo 7.San Antonio 8.La Paz 9.Las Colinas 10.Los Jiménez 11.El Portón 12.Los Letreros.
