Hatecore
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
HateCore historically refers to hardcore punk bands in the New York City scene in the late 1980s who wanted to point out that their sound was different from the original hardcore bands a few years earlier. Early 1990s HateCore was adapted by hardcore bands with a more metal-sound.[1]
They are completely unrelated to the few Rock Against Communism bands that have adopted the term hatecore to describe white power bands that play hardcore.[2][3][4][5]
