Haslingden St. Mary's F.C.

Haslingden St Mary's F.C. is a football club based at Haslingden in the Rossendale Valley in Lancashire.
The club was formed in 1887, and for most of their history have only played in local junior football. Since 1990 they have been playing their home games at the South Shore Playing Fields, just a few hundred yards from the town centre. They are associate members of the Lancashire Football Association.
In 2006-07 the club's senior team plays in the West Lancashire League Premier Division, which is at the 11th level of the English football league system. Having previously played in the Blackburn Combination, they joined the West Lancashire League for the 1997-98 season, and in recent seasons have been very successful. They were Division Two Champions in 2004-05, and Division One Champions in 2005-06.
The club's colours are green and white hooped shirts and green shorts. They quite often produce a programme for their home games.
Haslingden St Mary's have risen to become the premier club side in the town. Previously Haslingden FC held this position, having played for a short time in the North West Counties League.
