Hashut is the god of the Chaos Dwarfs in the the fictional Warhammer Fantasy setting by Games Workshop

Hashut is known as the "Lord of the Forge", or the "Father of Darkness". He is depicted as as a bull-headed god. Very little information has ever been published, the vast majority in the official Chaos Dwarf army book "White Dwarf Presents: Chaos Dwarfs".

The story of Hashut was to be included in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay but the text was rejected and never published.[citation needed] In the material he was described this:

Hashut was a fallen Bloodthirster of Khorne. He was a dangerous Bloodthirster in that unlike many other greater daemons, gained his own mind. His thirst for power led him to dabble in magic, in an attempt to surpass his master and secure his own godhood. This foolish gambit made him hated among to court of the Blood God, and was hunted down for the sins he has committed. For in the eyes of Khorne, magic is cowardly and an insult to the honour of fighting. Escaping to avoid the forces of Khorne Hashut hid underground but he was pursued captured and imprisoned behind a great door. For centuries Hashut lay in darkness and fell into myth and then forgotten. Here he was discovered by Dark Lands Dwarfs from the Mountains of Mourn tunnelling to find a way to the surface from their strongholds after the collapse of the warpgates. They released Hashut and upon release he killed many. Hashut promised them power if they worshiped him alone taking the place of their Ancestor Gods.
