Why is Bellatrix Lestrange in minor characters and Narcissa Malfoy in Families? Bellatrix is a much more prominent character in the novels than Narcissa. (Just look at how often they appear, the roles they play and actions they take, how often they speak, etc.) She has surpassed Lucius Malfoy as the penultimate villain in the Harry Potter universe. It seems absurd to shunt her to minor characters when she will obviously be a major player in the final book, and is much more important than her barely-developed sister. 68.162.148.149
