[edit] review - comments beyond general terms
12% of whom are Italian Australians what is so significant about this statement that warrants inclusion into the lead yet doesnt have any follow up. WP:LEAD says the lead should be a summary of the article, also the (ABS 2001) next to the population should go and a cite placed with the infobox for the figure. It also needs to expand to 2-3 paragraphs I moved an image down the page a paragraph so that it clears the infobox given thats it set to left side of the page clearing the box IMHO improves text flow. No mention of dairy, timber or fruit industries. Harvey fresh should be given a para or two instead of an external link. Gnangarra 15:46, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agree with all of the above points - have addressed the first one and will address others if I get time (other editors are more than welcome to have a go :)) Orderinchaos78 21:43, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Irrigation in Australia and WW2 internees
Hope this is the right place mentioned in Irrigation in Australia. In which case shouldn't this article mention something about being part of WA's first controlled irrigation scheme and in the history section about the Italian internees held at the Harvey Internment Camp during WWII? (their memorial is mentioned under present day - seems wrong place) --Golden Wattle talk 18:45, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
