Talk:Harry Rimmer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Do anyone have any data about how the trial ended up going? Presumably if we can find a source for what happened, it would make sense to add it in. JoshuaZ 00:21, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- I did a little digging. But I did not dig deep enough yet to know the details. My understanding is that he offered the 100 dollars to someone who could prove his challenge, so a prominent atheist answered teh challenge and Rimmer would not pay up. So it went to court. And his lawyer wrote a book. But I do not know who won or lost. It might be interesting to find te lawyer's book, or do more searching on the name of the trial: Floyd Rimmer? I would also look at all the Ronald L. Numbers articles I could find; there are several of them on the Web. I have some links if you cannot find them. There are a lot more than I have listed in this article.--Filll 00:26, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
