Harzgerode is a municipality in the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Unterharz of the district of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Its localities include:
- Harzgerode
- Alexisbad
- Mägdesprung
- Silberhütte
Harzgerode lies in the eastern part of the Harz mountains, south of Quedlinburg. It is connected to Gernrode by a narrow gauge railroad called Selketalbahn.

Harzgerode received municipal rights in 1338. It was the residence of the principality Anhalt-Bernburg-Harzgerode from 1635 to 1709.
