Hartenberg-Münchfeld

Hartenberg-Münchfeld, colloquially known as HaMü, is the student quarter of Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Created in the 1989 reorganisation of Mainz, the sector currently has a population of 15,000 citizens.

It is North of the city's university, and many of the city's 35,000 students live there. Also resident in HaMü is the regional TV station SWR, and the stadium of first league football club 1. FSV Mainz 05. Famous residents include Nobel Prize Winner Paul J. Crutzen and fashion designer Anja Gockel.
