Harsh Environment Mass Spectrometry Workshop

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Workshop on Harsh-Environment Mass Spectrometry (HEMS) is held to encourage the interaction among those involved in the development and deployment of mass spectrometers designed for various harsh environments. Such environments demand small, portable, rugged, and low-power instruments. The workshop includes technical sessions with talks and posters that focus on topics related to the development and use of mass spectrometer components and systems designed for harsh environments. This includes ion source, mass analyzer, detector, vacuum pump, and other peripheral equipment.
