Harry D'Amour

Harry D'Amour is a fictional character created by English author, filmmaker, and artist Clive Barker.
D'Amour is a detective who happens to be supernaturally attracted to the darker forces. He is always fighting demons and other undesirable spirits. His body is selectively marked with an assortment of tattooed symbols for protection from evil.
He first appears in the short story "The Last Illusion" in Barker's Books of Blood Volume 6 and later pops up in The Great and Secret Show. He is also a major character in Everville. D'Amour is set to appear alongside Pinhead in Barker's upcoming book The Scarlet Gospels which will be released in 2007 or 8.
D'Amour is the main character in the film Lord of Illusions, which is loosely based on "The Last Illusion." In the film, he was portrayed by Scott Bakula.
