Harry Baron's technique for his scultures involves irradiating various stone or metal parts, minerals and pigments under a very high, dry heat. The hardening progress produces a rock, which the sculptor then sculpts. The geological qualities and textures of nature play a dominant role in his sculptures. The subdued earth colors of their pigments provide them with an additional dimension of expression. The organic forms are determined by archaic landscapes, subterranean landscapes, and cosmic metaphors dealing with the beginning and end of a cycle.

The innovative creational process, which convincingly combines highly technical and traditional sculptural methods, generates sculptures linking organic and abstract forms in an imaginative synthesis. The development of Earth, the threats facing it, and the feeling world of human, animal and plant phenomena are reflected in an amazing manner.
