Harrison County School District

The Harrison County School District is a public school district based in Gulfport, Mississippi (USA).
In addition to serving portions of Gulfport, the district also serves the city of D'Iberville, the communities of Lyman and Saucier, and portions of Biloxi as well as most of rural Harrison County.

There were a total of 12,217 students enrolled in the Harrison County School District during the 2005-2006 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 48% female and 52% male. The racial makeup of the district was 26% African American, 70% White, 1% Hispanic, 2% Asian and less than 1% Native American.[1]
