[edit] History

The Harrisburg Rugby Club was founded in the fall of 1969. The team's first match was against a rugby team from Wheeling, West Virginia.[1] The club participates in the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union, a Local Area Union (LAU) for rugby union teams in eastern and central Pennsylvania, as well as Delaware and parts of New Jersey. The EPRU is part of the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union (MARFU), which is one of the seven Territorial Area Unions (TAU's) that comprise USA Rugby.

[edit] Sponsorship

The teams primary sponsor is the Appalachian Brewing Company.[1]
