Haroon Mirza is an artist living and working in London. Embracing technology and the digital age, Haroon Mirza uses art historical references to investigate the perception of space both visual and auditory. His work manifests in many guises from computer generated photorealism to self-referencing video and sound installations. Mirza's practice often suggests abstract functions, opening up utilitarian potentialities for the work. On some occasions he adopts design processes to bring the work into "practiced space", yet no distinctions are made between the disciplines of art and design.
