Harold Webbe

Sir (William) Harold Webbe, CBE DL (30 September 1885—22 April 1965) was a British Conservative politician.
Webbe was educated at King Edward's School, Birmingham and Queen's College, Cambridge. During World War I, he worked at the Ministry of Munitions. He worked as a director of several companies.
Webbe was a member of the London County Council 1925-49 and led the Municipal Reform Party on the LCC for twelve years. He was Deputy Lieutenant of the County of London. In 1939, he was elected Member of Parliament for the Westminster Abbey seat, in 1950 becoming MP for the new seat of Cities of London and Westminster. He retired in 1959.
