Harold Warp

Harold Warp (1903 – April 9, 1994) was an early plastics tycoon and the founder of Pioneer Village in Minden, Nebraska. Born in a sod house to an immigrant family from Norway, he was orphaned at age 11. In 1924, he moved to Chicago with $800 and a patent for "Flex-O-Glass," a plastic window material he developed. Warp Bros. is still in business today, and still under family ownership.

In Nebraska, Warp is best-known as the founder of Pioneer Village in Minden, which has a collection of over 50,000 items.
