Harold John Snepsts (born October 24, 1954, Edmonton, Alberta) was a professional hockey player who played 17 seasons in the National Hockey League - 12 of them with the Vancouver Canucks, three in Red Wings colours, two with the St. Louis Blues and one with the North Stars. He was drafted in the 1974 NHL Entry Draft, in the 4th round (59th overall) by the Canucks. He was a defenseman. He played 1,033 games, scored 38 goals and added 195 assists. He played his last season in St. Louis and said upon his retirement, "I'm done, all I have left to do now is remember all the great players I played with and all the friends I met. Thankfully, I played that long." After ending his pro career he was a coach for a number of seasons. He was the head coach of the Peoria Rivermen, San Diego Gulls and Portland Winter Hawks. In 1992-93 he was an assistant coach of the St. Louis Blues.
