Harold Creighton
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Harold Digby Fitzgerald Creighton (11 September 1927-3 July 2003) was a British businessman who bought The Spectator magazine in 1967. Although he had no prior experience as a journalist, he was also editor of the magazine from 1973 to 1975, when he sold it. During his tenure, The Spectator maintained a position of fervent opposition to the EEC; weekly sales also fell from 30,000 to 17,000.
