First apparance: "Skeletons in the Water Closet"

Billy's father (usually called "Harold" or "Harry" and sometimes "Fat Man" by Grim and the adult characters, but referred to as "Billy's Dad" by Mandy) is an overweight man with a large, bulbous nose and a lofty black pompadour hairstyle (also known as "The Pomp") which houses his brain, and of which is he duly proud. He is perhaps best described in the episode The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (video game) Runaway Pants as a "hard-working, loving family man... but not too bright." He strongly resembles his son in appearance, personality and intelligence (or lack thereof, although "Little Rock of Horrors" displays that he has a brain, unlike his son). Like his son he also has a number of unpleasant habits, including nose-picking, flatulence, male chauvinism (especially around his wife, Gladys) and unapologetic idiocy. He also does some...Disturbing... things with butter. In one episode, after giving Grim a 'heads up' he proceeds to pick his nose before shoving his entire fist up it and devouring his own brain. This appears to have no affect on him what so ever and this only reinforces the fact that he is a total idiot. He is also a playable character on The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy video game, but he appears as Mogar.

His relationship with Grim is fairly jovial and he often refers to him by the nickname "Grimmy". It seems that he does not realise that Grim is the Grim Reaper. In Grim vs. Mom, while Gladys was shocked when she saw the Grim Reaper in their house, Harold was introducing her to "Billy's new friend, George, Grimmy... or something". Although he is always friendly when around Grim, while Grim usually does not like him as his constant misbehaviour and stupidity drives him mad. His relationship with his wife Gladys seems to be a romantic and loving, despite their personality differences. He has said "I love you" to his son at one point, though Billy wasn't present during that time, and Harold was apparently talking to a pelican. He stated that he probably will not say it again; however, he did say it to Billy during father's day (Dad Day Afternoon).

He is convinced that his son is a genius, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary (The Problem with Billy). In his youth, he lived in the same house where he is now raising his family (The Taking Tree), was a talented ballet dancer, although his father did not approve (Billy Idiot), was accepted to Harvard (but his acceptance letter was stolen out of the mailbox by the Taking Tree), a "Doctur" (sic), due to having "that head reflector thingie, and this listening dealie-bob (a stethescope), (The Secret Snake Club vs. P.E.), and is — somewhat improbably — a former Navy SEAL (Dream Mutt). On Billy's birthday, he made him a macaroni bike.
