Harlesden station is both a London Underground station and a railway station. The railway line at this point forms the border of the Harlesden residential area and the Park Royal industrial estate. It is on the Bakerloo Line and Silverlink, between Willesden Junction and Stonebridge Park. It is in zone 3.

Opened by the London and North Western Railway on 15 June 1912, Bakerloo Line services began on 16 April 1917.

The station will be managed by London Underground from November 2007. It will remain the property of Network Rail. [1] Passenger services currently operated by Silverlink will become part of London Overground.
