Haret Hreik

Haret Hreik (Arabic: حارة حريك), or Harat Hurayk, is a mixed Shi'ite and Maronite Christian town, part of the Dahieh suburbs of southern Beirut, Lebanon. Located northwest of the Rafic Hariri International Airport, it was primarily a residential area and the headquarters of the Shi'ite Islamist militant group, Hezbollah until Israeli warplanes destroyed the headquarters on July 2006.^[1]
