Hareide Designmill was established in January 2000 by Einar J. Hareide, former Chief Designer at Saab Automobile AB, Sweden, and a designer at Mercedes-Benz AG in Germany. After many years of experience in the automotive industry, Einar Hareide saw a business opportunity for using his experience in creating a total industrial design service located in Norway.

Based in Moss, Norway, Hareide Designmill work with a variety of clients, from international companies to smaller local businesses.

The studio's designers hold BFA and MFA in industrial design from a variety of the best universities in the world.

The experience of team members ranges from concept studies to computer modelling and future research studies.
