Hardliner was a Canadian hard rock band, active from 1999 to 2004.

Hardliner formed in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada in 1999. The band performed at local clubs and venues and released a six-song E.P., entitled 'Generation Why?' in 2001. Hardiner had interviews on Canada's CBC Radio and live footage aired on MuchMusic's programme 'Going Coastal.' The band decided to disband indefinitely in 2004.
