Harding Academy (Memphis), founded in 1952 as Memphis Christian School, is a Christian private school for early childhood through grade 12. The main campus houses an early childhood program and grades 7-12 and is located on Cherry Road in Memphis, Tennessee adjacent to the campus of the Harding University Graduate School of Religion. Several satellite campuses throughout the Memphis area offer early childhood and elementary programs. Like the graduate school, Harding Academy is affiliated with the Church of Christ. Athletic teams, nicknamed the "Lions", are affiliated with the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA). The school's name, like that of the university, honors the early Church of Christ minister, James A. Harding. The school plans to move out to the Lakeland area in the next several years where a new building and campus will be constructed. The school's current president is Pam Womack.
