Hardin Southern Railroad

The Hardin Southern Railroad (AAR reporting mark HSRR) is a short line railroad located in Hardin, Kentucky. The line offers freight service primarily serving the Murray Industrial Park in Murray, Kentucky.
A passenger train operated over this line until 2005. The equipment used incluced an EMD SW1 which was sent to Knoxville, Tennessee. The passenger cars and a Chessie System C27A caboose went to the Tennessee Valley Railroad in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
