Harald Schmautz

Harald Schmautz (born December 30, 1953 ) is a German journalist and monarchist.
Since the early 1970s Schmautz has been writing articles for the German bimonthly monarchists' magazine "Erbe und Auftrag" ("Heritage and Order"). Previously he was a member of the CDU, but since 1974 has been a member of the German monarchist organization "Tradition und Leben" ("Tradition and Life"), of which he was chairman ("Vorsitzender") from 1984 to 1988.
He is also a member of the German party "Bündnis 90/Die Grünen".
Harold Schmautz lives in Schwäbisch Hall (Baden-Württemberg) and Melbourne (Australia). He supports the work of the Australian Monarchist League.
