[edit] Itching powder
Thanks for the barnstar! I was mainly curious about the ingrediants. Your new article prompted me to write sneezing powder to help round out the gag gift coverage! Jokestress 08:48, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Capitalisation
You should check the Manual of Style, but my experience is that we would usually prefer 18-electron rule to 18-Electron rule: this is because eighteen is the first noun in the title, even if it expressed as figures (my own preference would be for Eighteen electron rule to emphasize this). I am still on WP, despite connection problems, simply trying to maximiose my efforts for the moment when I will have quick access again... Cheers, Physchim62 (talk) 13:20, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank You for reverting edits by a Serial Vandal on Mumps. I couldn't revert them because of 3RR. Flubeca 17:35, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Indefinite article again
Hi HC, this is P.wormer. I saw you made some small changes to the Paldus lemma. I agree, except for the difference between a distinguished professor and distinguished professor. I understand distinguished is a title that a university gives to only a few emiriti. To my feeling (as non-native speaker of English) it seems that if you write a distingushed professor it is as if this is the opinion of the author, not a title extended by the university. But maybe I am wrong and if you change it back I won't lie awake over it.--24.221.176.76 16:37, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I thought to use an indefinite article because the department has more than one professor with the same title (Cizek is the other) [1]. Also, just from a quick Google search it seems that a handful of others from different departments also have the same title. By the way, thanks for starting that article. --HappyCamper 22:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Hello,
The previously deleted image has been uploaded again by the same uploader. You had deleted it for the second time few days back. Now again, the image is marked for speedy-deletion. Please delete it again, and block the uploader for repeated offense. Log of the file, is [2]. Thanks. - KNM Talk 02:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- I took a closer look at the logs. There seems to have been an e-mail which was sent regarding that image on March 1st. I'm trying to follow up with this user. I'll take care of this as best I can, but I wouldn't mind if I had a little extra set of eyes just to double check. Thanks for the note. --HappyCamper 03:27, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

- Another item here to address the uploader and their other images. --HappyCamper 03:40, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bogoliubov trafo
Hi, very busy now. But I think that the Bogoliubov transformation article clearly explains that the new ground state annihilated by the new annihilation operators is a squeezed coherent state. Do you understand it? If you do and if you think that the explanation is unclear, make it clearer. Best, Lubos --Lumidek 15:58, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Minor fame..
You might be amused to read this article on an unusual grammatical construction stemming from something you wrote on Wikipedia... Shimgray | talk | 18:29, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Molecular vibration
You are wrong in regard to the internal coordinates of ethene. They are in fact a matter of choice, because if you take just bond lengths and angles in the molecular plane there are two redundant coordinates. By choosing rocking coordinates the redundancy is avoided. My original wording implied this choice.Petergans 09:58, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Stop messing with molecular vibration
Please stop messing with this page. I am expert in this field and you are introducing errors because you do not have a full understanding of the subject matter. It also appears that English is not your mother tongue, so you should not attempt to correct my English. If you do not desist I will report the matter to the administrators.Petergans 13:41, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
