[edit] Synopsis

Brandy is depressed because her birthday is coming up, in which is her first birthday away from her family and she doesn't believe she will be able to enjoy herself. However, when Mr. Whiskers volunteers to help, she instantly formulates a grandiose plan to ensure that everything is set up properly. Mr. Whiskers goes out and tries to get people to agree to come to her party, but when Mr. Whiskers returns and tells Brandy that absolutely no one wants to come to her party because she is too mean, she decides to find a way to get her party and prove that she is nice at the same time, in which she believes she will be able to hold a birthday party for Mr. Whiskers so that it will improve her image as well as getting her the party she desires. However, while the plan originally works as people begin to think Brandy is nice, when they see how mean she is to the people setting up the party, in which she is mean to them because she wants everything to be perfect, people begin to decide that she isn't nice and she isn't holding the party for a noble reason, and when she demands that the party be set up properly by the time she gets back from getting Mr. Whiskers, the jungle denizens decide to bail on her and get out before she returns. Brandy gets Mr. Whiskers and takes him to the party, but upon realizing that no one was there, Mr. Whiskers expresses confusion over the circumstances, but Brandy explains that everyone left and she begins to cry as she runs away, leaving Mr. Whiskers behind. Mr. Whiskers catches up with Brandy and they begin to talk, Mr. Whiskers tries to convince Brandy that she isn't mean because she threw him a party, but Brandy admits that the party was for herself and she was just using Mr. Whiskers as an excuse. Brandy apologizes to Mr. Whiskers, explaining that she understands that she is mean and selfish and that she didn't deserve a good party, but upon doing so, the jungle denizens decide to come out of hiding, in which they explained that they did decide to leave because she was mean, but they changed their mind upon hearing her confession. Brandy and her friends then decide to celebrate the event and they enjoy themselves, in which they then dance into the night.
