Hapoel Bnei Lod F.C. (Hebrew: הפועל בני לוד) are a football club, from the central Israeli city of Lod. The club plays in an all-red strip, and are currently in Liga Leumit, the second tier of Israeli football. Home matches are played at the Lod Municipal Stadium. They are more commonly known as just Bnei Lod.

Hapoel Lod were originally the main team from the city, spending several seasons in the top division and winning the State Cup in 1984. However, financial problems saw the club fold in 2002 and reform as Maxim Lod in Liga Gimel, one division below Hapoel Bnei Lod, then in Liga Bet.
Despite being founded during the 1960s, Hapoel Bnei Lod had achieved little and remained in the lower leagues until the new millennium. However, the problems of their city rivals allowed them to become the major force in the city. The season after Hapoel Lod folded was the first in which Bnei Lod had been in a higher division than their neighbours. As a result, many of the city's football fans switched their allegiance and started following Bnei Lod.
The club's upwards momentum started when they won Liga Bet in 2003-4. The following season saw them win Liga Alef and promotion to Liga Artzit (the third tier). The winning run continued in 2005-6 as the club claimed the Liga Artzit championship to win promotion to Liga Leumit.
