Haplogroup Y (mtDNA)

In human mitochondrial genetics, Haplogroup Y is a human mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) haplogroup.
Haplogroup Y was found in South Siberian populations with a frequency of less than 3%.[1] However, its high presence was found in the Ainu and in the Nivkhi.
