Hans Schmeisser

Hans Schmeisser is a well-known weapons technical designer in Europe. The son of Louis Schmeisser - who was also a famous weapons technical designer - his notable achievement is his contributions to the construction of the German "weapon city" Suhl. His work, along with the work of entrepreneurs and engineers like Simson, Sour, and Haenel, helped shape that city for more than a century. With its name development and production of the machine guns of the company Bergmann are closely connected in the time up to First World War. At the company Bergmann receives also Hugo Schmeisser its fundamental traininther Hugo creates it 1919 the "industrial plant Auhammer cook and CO." in Suhl. Under given conditions in Germany after the First World War this enterprise does not run from the outset well. Into this time the first contact falls to the company Haenel in Suhl. That is the beginning of a 20 years lasting co-operation with heights and depths. For the security of its patent laws Hugo and Hans Schmeisser in the summer create 1922 a second company under the name of "brothers Schmeisser" in Suhl. Strange way the brothers Schmeisser attorney of the company Haenel remain, although they are shareholders and actually acting partners of the enterprise.
