Hans Kockelmans

Hans Kockelmans is a Dutch composer, teacher, and performer of classical and electronic music.
He studied electronic music, guitar and baroque lute. In his composition, he is one of the pioneers of granular synthesis. His electronic music as well as his acoustic work frequently refers to medieval themes. He studies and tries to adjust his works to the acoustics of existing or hypothetical locations.
