Hans Klingenberg is as of February 2006 the Danish ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates. He is living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ambassador was criticized by Danish politicians for giving an interview in January 2006 to AP-TV where he stated a different opinion concerning the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons than the official Danish policy on this topic.
